Donate - Help Protect Dolphins & Marine Mammals in Israel | Delphis
:Help save dolphins and marine mammals along Israel’s coast
Your donation keeps research boats at sea, inspires thousands of children every year, and protects endangered species like the Mediterranean monk seal and the common dolphins living off Ashdod’s coast
Every day, dolphins, whales and seals living in the Eastern Mediterranean face threats from pollution, fishing nets, shipping traffic and habitat loss. Delphis - the Israeli organization for marine mammal conservation - is working on the sea, on the shore, and in classrooms across the country to protect them. As a non-profit organization, Delphis relies on donations and volunteers to exist. Your gift today helps us continue long-term research at sea, operate the unique Dolphin and Sea Education Center in Ashdod, and protect the last remaining Mediterranean monk seals in our region
Why donate now?
-
Marine mammals in the Mediterranean are under growing pressure from human activity and climate change.
-
Off Ashdod’s coastline lives a small population of common dolphins - a species considered endangered in the Mediterranean Sea - that depends on our ongoing monitoring and protection.
-
In recent years, rare Mediterranean monk seals have returned to the region. Delphis is working to restore coastal caves and create safe artificial shelters to help them re-establish in Israel.
Your donation today directly supports this urgent work - before it’s too late for these species.
