Donation
Delphis is a non-profit organization, whose existence depends on donations and its many volunteers. Join the list of donors to the organization, and together we will protect the marine mammals of Israel's coasts.
The association operates transparently and holds an official authorization for tax-deductible donations under Section 46 of the Israeli Income Tax Ordinance. Most of the donations to the association are allocated to its educational and awareness-raising activities throughout the country, as well as to the unique Dolphin and Sea Education Center - the only one of its kind in the Middle East - established in 2016 in the city of Ashdod. Off Ashdod’s coastline lives a population of common dolphins, a species considered endangered in the Mediterranean Sea. A donation to the association is also used to support ongoing conservation activities for marine mammals, including efforts to protect the Mediterranean monk seal in our region and restore caves to facilitate its resettlement in Israel, as well as to build an artificial shelter in the country’s central area. Additionally, nearly every research trip to sea (marine surveys to monitor the dolphin populations off Israel’s coast) now takes place thanks to a funded partnership—whether using a club’s vessel or a private yacht.
