Regulations - Surprise Sailing - Delphis Association (hereinafter: "the Association", or "Delphis")

Participation in cruises

1. The cruises are an educational-community activity that takes place within the framework of the goals of the Delphis Association, and do not constitute a commercial service or a private cruise.

2. The number of participants on each cruise is limited to ten paying participants.

3. Participation in the cruise is from the age of 10 and up, and is subject to a signature (subscription) confirming that the regulations have been read. Without derogating from the above, minors participating in the cruise are required to be accompanied by an adult. The registrant's signature on these regulations also constitutes the consent and commitment of all participants registered under it (including those who are not minors, and for whom the registrant purchased a ticket for the cruise) to act in accordance with all provisions of the regulations, and the registrant declares and confirms that he is responsible for providing all information and ensuring that the said participants are aware of these regulations and accept their full content.

4. The cruises depart at the dates and times published from time to time on the website, and do not take place on fixed days. Registrants should check the event page on the website for cruise times and departure locations. Registrants should take into account that the return time to the dock may be longer than the return time specified on the event page on the website.

5. The Association may cancel or postpone a sailing for any reason beyond its control, including force majeure, unsuitable sea or weather conditions, the yacht's fitness, security circumstances, illness, or any other circumstance beyond its control. In the event of cancellation or postponement, the registrant will be notified as soon as possible, and the registrant will be given a full refund or the option to register for another date (in accordance with the registration and cancellation policy below). In such a situation, the registrant will not have any other claim or demand against the Association or anyone on its behalf.

6. The Delphis Association recommends not registering or registering for the cruise a person who has no prior experience in sailing. A person who feels unwell during the cruise will be forced to wait until returning to the dock. Unless it is an emergency - an earlier return than planned will not be possible.

7. Those registering for the cruise must keep up to date with the instructions for the cruise, as received from the association by email and/or on the event page on the website.

8. The Delphis Association, its employees, representatives, board members, volunteers, and skippers on its behalf are not liable for any damage, loss, injury, or expense incurred by registrants and/or participants during or as a result of the cruise, unless caused by gross negligence on the part of the association, its employees, or representatives. The registrant and/or participant is aware that participation in the cruise involves natural risks associated with marine activities, and he assumes these risks at his own risk and without the possibility of any claim or demand against the association or anyone on its behalf.

9. By signing these regulations, the registrant declares that his health is in good condition and that there is no medical impediment to his participation in the cruise. Responsibility for his health and medical fitness lies solely with him.

Registration and Cancellation Policy

1. The dates of the cruises will be published on the website from time to time (usually, and in accordance with Delphis' constraints, once a quarter), and registration for them will be done directly on the website, on a designated form.

2. You can only register for one cruise each quarter. Please indicate the number of registrants when registering (up to four per registrant). In exceptional cases, you can contact us at the following email and we will try to accommodate you:

3. Cancellation of participation in the cruise (of the registrant or one or more of his companions) must be made up to 48 hours before the cruise date, via written notification by email or WhatsApp to 054-9960171.

4. If the cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the sailing date, no refund will be given to the registrant.

5. If the cruise is canceled by Delphis (for any reason), the registrant will receive written notification by email or WhatsApp, and will be given the option to choose between receiving a full refund or registering for the cruise at another time (while giving priority to his registration for the next date) at no cost.

6. Late for the cruise: If the registrant anticipates a delay of several minutes (up to 15 minutes) in arriving on time for the cruise, he must immediately inform the researcher leading the cruise (the phone number will appear in the email received from Delphis, as well as in a dedicated WhatsApp group that will be opened prior to the cruise).

7. If the registrant is more than fifteen minutes late for the cruise (15 minutes), the cruise will depart without the registrant, and no refund will be given.

8. Delphis is not responsible for the personal belongings of the registrant and/or participant.

9. By signing these regulations, those registering for the cruise declare that they allow the use of photos/videos from the cruise in the various media of Delfis, and their distribution to media outlets (while giving credit). The registrant and/or participant waives any demand or financial claim for the use of his/her photo or the documentation of the cruise, as long as this use is for the purposes of the association and in accordance with its policy.

10. Do not post photos/videos from the cruise on social media without receiving prior written permission from the Delphis team (this is to enable their distribution in the media).
