About the event
The Delphis Association opens the gates of marine research to the general public, and offers a unique experience for the daring among you: join our team of researchers on survey cruises as part of Israel's national dolphin study. This is a rare opportunity to get to know marine research in Israel up close, and surprise a loved one, a lover of the sea and dolphins, by joining a surprise cruise - a several-hour cruise during which you hear from the best marine researchers in Israel about research methods and the documentation of dolphins in their natural environment, learn up close about how to identify the various individuals, analyze behavior, and conduct marine fieldwork.
The cruises are not commercial - but rather a rare opportunity to take part in active research, contribute to data collection, and help preserve the Mediterranean ecosystem.
