In celebration of Hanukkah, join us for an interactive family activity that will shed light on the fascinating world of Israel’s marine mammals - from dolphins and whales to Mediterranean monk seals. The activity begins at the Lachish River estuary and concludes at the unique permanent exhibition at the Delphis Visitors Center. We’ll wrap up with a fun creative workshop for children!

The Dolphin and the Sea CenterIt is the only maritime educational center of its kind in the Middle East, which reveals to visitors the story of the first Israeli seal and the secrets of the Mediterranean Sea and its inhabitants. During the tour, visitors learn about the spectacular world of marine mammals, including the Mediterranean monk seals, the rich ecosystem of the Mediterranean Sea, and the human impact on this system. In the center is an impressive display of skeletons of whales, dolphins and other marine mammals.
Join us on a tour along the Lachish stream, in the section of the stream that always flows and offers a glimpse of fascinating urban nature, rich in birds and other animals.
