Gadi Elsar is an artist and creator who lives and works in the Galilee. He has been painting for decades in local workshops and exhibition events; he studied and experimented with various artists (including Marlene Ferrer, Francine Lasry, Lilach Galkin and Yitzhak de Lange). His work focuses on oil paints on canvas and in recent years also in acrylic on burlap bags of coffee beans. Elsar, who is also a musician, sees painting as “composing an emotion and its melody” - a way of expression, liberation and connection between man, landscape and memory.
This work by Elser is being sold as part of the "Artists for Marine Mammals" project, the proceeds of which are dedicated to continuing the activities of the Delphis Association for the protection of marine mammals in Israel and instilling a love of the sea in the next generation, at the association's Dolphin and Sea Center in Ashdod.
