Gil Lupo is an Israeli photographer, director, and producer with about 30 years of experience in video and television productions. This image is part of a five-year project to document the fin whales in the Azores Archipelago in Mozambique.
The humpback whale is known for its acrobatic leaps and unique song, which can be heard vast distances beneath the sea surface.
Every year, great white sharks migrate vast distances of thousands of kilometers - between the feeding grounds in the cold waters of the Antarctic and the warm breeding grounds of Africa, the islands of the Indian Ocean, and South America.
The painting is being sold as part of the " Artists for Marine Mammals " project as a donation to the continued activities of the Delphis Association to protect marine mammals in Israel and educate the younger generation to love the sea.
